The real war officially started, but with only Kang Oh Yeok as the teacher everything seemed to be hard. However, the students had no other choice but to ask him a big help. The three of them got along with each other well after all the misunderstandings cleared up. But Sam Dong was quite determine. Hye Mi’s cold response to him didn’t stop him showing his affection to this girl.
There was suddenly a knock in the door…they had another student in the class: the weight-loss-in-progress Pil Sook.  The others gape to see that while she’s still chubby, she’s noticeably lost some weight her beautification process has begun.

In-sung offers to treat Baek-hee in honor of her finding her pendant, and she makes the excuse to invite Jin-gook, because he helped her get it back. Ah, yet another love triangle brews. You’ve got the misfit class triangle (the boys and Hye-mi), the catfight triangle (the girls and Jin-gook), and now the b-boy triangle (the boys and Baek-hee).

Oh Yeok wasn’t really good in teaching acting, so he recorded how another teacher taught at the regular class and then showed it to his class just like the at-home-yoga with video instruction. However, their class was disturbed by the presence of Principal Shi, so the class needed to find another place to practice. Kang Oh Yeok knew exactly where he should take them: Jin Guk’s old underground place.

Kang Oh Yeok needed a help for teaching the students. He went to see and begging Yang Jin Man. He persuaded him using their old-time-together dream.

Hye Mi accused Baek Hee for being the one behind her hardtimes at school. But Baek Hee played innocence, especially in front of Jin Guk who interfere and backed up Baek Hee.

Yang Jin Man taught them music and acting. The acting class was important for them to deliver the sincere emotion through the song. Everyone was practicing quite well, but Hye Mi was still as emotionless as ever that she made Jin Man gave up.
However, Hye Mi was willing to learn because she needed to win. So she went to learn it from Pil Sook. She asked Pil Sook how could she easily deliver the emotion through the song. Pil Sook just simply said, “Because i’m in love.” She then took Hye Mi to secretly watch Jason practicing in the piano room. Hye Mi doubted Jason really had a special feelings to Pil Sook, even though she told her about the way Jason always treated him. But then it turned out that Jason was basically a gentleman with a good manner. So he treated all the girls as nicely and respectedly as he did with Pil Sook. And Hye Mi confronted him for that. She told him that his manner made girls misunderstood him.

A call brings Jin-gook to the police station, with news of an attempted suicide. The hyung he’d previously lived with has failed the bar yet again and jumped off a rooftop, only to escape with minor injuries.

The hyung assures Jin-gook that he won’t be stupid enough to attempt suicide again,
Spurred into action, Jin-gook admits that there’s a song he wants to learn… SNSD’s “Genie.”. Oh-hyuk tells rest of the Misfit Mafia that they’ll all be learning the SNSD song together,  Jin-gook offers to learn it on his own, but Oh-hyuk argues that they’re actually doing it for Hye-mi, who is still failing.

Evaluation day arrives,Hye-mi takes the mic for her turn, and with Oh-hyuk’s last words ringing in her ears, she asks for a different song at the last moment. The others are confused by the sudden change, but Jin-gook is the first to catch on it’s the special birthday song she sung him on that snowy Christmas Eve, perhaps the last time she’d sung a song entirely for someone else rather than herself.Even the teachers are stunned at the genuine expression on her face, and she has tears in her eyes at song’s end. Teacher Gong awards her a perfect score.

2011 - the year of rabbit

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!
Today is the day where all the Chinese families sit at a round table having the annual reunion dinner before Chinese Rabbit Year. Unfortunately, I had two bloody classes this afternoon before going to my uncle's place. As expected, the campus was deserted and all the cafeterias were closed. The only souls you could see were the International students' and a few silly Chinese people like me, KY, and Chick Gi. Not that I'm being racist or smth, but normally not many Chinese would want to attend class during this period. For we were so "hardworking", we received a few "ang pows" (red packets) from the lecturer. And the "ang pows" here is referring to assignment and quiz. Wtf right?
Anyway, this is a super duper late post:

My first "yee sang" of the year with my course mates. We, as in 11 Chinese students of ASSA skipped BA tutorial to go for "lou sang" at Sakae Sushi last Tuesday evening. No, we normally don't do that, but this is a special random occasion so...
The "yee sang" was very delicious and the price is reasonable! RM38.88+ for 1 large "yee sang" in Japanese style. As you can see from the picture above, the portion is big enough for about 6-8 pax. Of course, it's not full eating that alone, so we ordered some side dishes and sushi to go along with.

Looking at this pictures make me hungry.
The six of us - Jennifer, Mai, Steven, Chucky, Keng Cheng, and I went to Sushi Zanmai at Fahrenheit on last last Saturday. I wasn't craving for some sushi so I ordered some chicken udon smth instead (center left). *Slurppps. It was yummehhhhh! I'm definitely ordering that dish again. Then, we left to do some shopping at Sg Wang before having our late tea-time at Pavilion. The parking is soooo expensive in Pavilion, like RM15 for only 4.5 hours?!?!

On Monday night (31st January 2011), the Mangoes (don't ask me why we called ourselves Mangoes) went for "lou sang" at Soon Tatt Restaurant. Seriously, the service is damn slow. We ordered the package - 8 dishes and a "yee sang" and still, not filling at all. :( But I enjoyed the steam fish very much! After the feast, we went to Wallace's place to celebrate MK and CWah's birthdays. No Wii this time because there were so many of us. We played some poker instead. :p
